Paradise Valley Christian Preparatory is a school deeply rooted in faith, community, and a shared commitment to excellence. As the campus looked ahead to the next 50 years of growth, Jones Studio partnered with PVCP to craft a long-term master plan—one that could evolve with changing educational needs while remaining grounded in the school’s mission.
At the heart of the plan is a reimagined center of campus—a vibrant commons anchored by the new Panther Forum. This dynamic facility brings together dining, learning, play, and spiritual gathering in a single space that welcomes all age groups. A long-span roof floats above shaded patios and glass walls that blur the boundary between inside and out, transforming the act of gathering into an experience of light, landscape, and community.
The plan introduces a new middle and upper school building organized around a shared courtyard—an intentional gesture that gives older students a distinct place to grow, while maintaining visibility and connection to the larger campus. The relocation of the Lower School further strengthens this zoning strategy, clustering age groups to support developmental needs while reinforcing a sense of progression and continuity.

A new Performing Arts Center at the campus edge serves as a beacon of creativity and faith. Visible from the public realm, the 400-seat venue is designed to elevate student expression and offer space for performance, worship, and community events. Like the Panther Forum, the center is more than a building—it is a cultural landmark where students find their voice and families share in moments of pride and celebration.
Circulation throughout the campus becomes a meaningful journey, defined by tree-lined walkways, framed views, and moments of pause. Daylight guides movement. Landscape softens edges. New architecture expresses warmth and craft, while echoing the material palette of the original campus.
The result is a master plan rooted in flexibility and care. It allows for phased growth, embraces new possibilities, and reflects the evolving spirit of PVCP. As future buildings rise, the plan ensures each will strengthen the school’s mission—nurturing the minds, hearts, and faith of every student who walks its paths.
