Jones Studio seeks a forward-thinking and energetic Project Manager to join our internationally recognized, award-winning sustainable design practice in Tempe. We value divergent viewpoints that challenge conventional thinking.
An ideal candidate is committed to excellence in architectural design and craft and should have a minimum of eight years of experience working collaboratively with creative teams. This position requires a strong working knowledge of Revit, and all applicants should have documented at least two completed projects using the program.
This position requires an exacting eye for quality and deep investment in the logistics and details of a project. The tiniest detail must fit into the project’s big ideas.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on project management, design, construction documents, technical specifications, and construction administration aspects of project delivery
- Communicate and coordinate with project consultants
- Coordinate and lead the production team in developing construction documents
Required Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of relevant work experience
- Professional degree in Architecture
- Contemporary and creative design sensibility with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Strong design and technical detailing experience
- Ability to sketch and draw by hand
- Strong Revit, CADD drafting, modeling, and rendering, including SketchUp experience
- Digital graphic skills, including familiarity with software such as the Adobe Creative Suite
- Thorough working knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction
- Leadership and management skills with experience overseeing multiple junior team members
- Excellent oral, written, and graphic communication skills
- Interest in sustainable design and the craft of construction and contextual design
- Highly motivated and able to work both self-directed and in interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced and energetic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- LEED and/or WELL accreditation
- Professional registration
This position is full-time, in-office (in-person). Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship and must already possess long-term work authorization.
