After nearly 40 years of shaping Jones Studio’s vision, culture, and growth, Neal Jones, FAIA, will retire as President on June 1, 2025. His legacy, defined by design excellence, mentorship, and public service, has helped make Jones Studio the nationally recognized, values-driven firm it is today.
We are proud to announce that Jacob Benyi, AIA, will be the new President and Co-Owner of Jones Studio. Jacob has been with the firm since 2002, as Principal since 2014, and has consistently led with vision, care, and collaboration. His clarity of thought, project leadership, and enduring dedication to our values make him the ideal person to guide our next chapter.

Van specializes in design technology and documentation with a focus on 3D modeling and architectural visualization to facilitate effective communication between design concepts and client needs.
With experience in a diverse range of project types, Rafael brings his skills in communication, problem-solving, and hand sketching to our studio.
With architectural experience at varying scales, Dulce values everything from the largest site context to the smallest details in every project.
Derek is an inquisitive designer whose experience in custom residential to complex federal projects has provided him with a valuable range of design and problem-solving skills for any project.
Xander works on multiple project types with Jones Studio, and has a particular passion for ecologically driven projects and spaces of gathering, learning, and reflecting.
With twenty plus years of experience Nick has worked on many project typologies and scales ranging from higher education to large scale international diplomatic facilities with an emphasis on coordination and integration of complex building systems.
