1999 | Edmond, OK | Private Residence | 11,200 sq ft
There is a familiarity with the Yates House that initially eludes explanation. High pitched roofs, cedar shingles, and red brick exterior walls compose Jones Studio’s interpretation of Oklahoma residential architecture. Curved around the same center point as the cul-de-sac, the residence orients all interior spaces towards the adjacent golf course. Heated and cooled by an innovative geothermal system (one of the first in Oklahoma), the Yates House exists to serve the family spirit and the environment.
