1997 | Scottsdale, AZ | Private Residence | 3,800 sq ft

An adjacent golf course, city views, and a boulder pile pushed, pulled, and sculpted the residence’s form into a parallelogram that takes advantage of the site’s opportunities. The house is designed to float above the desert, with broad overhangs and expansive walls of glass to capture the surrounding natural beauty. Cladding the walls is titanium zinc; a material inspired by the owner’s titanium golf clubs.  Their obsession with the game is the reason this project exists in the first place.
