This past Thursday evening, February 7th, Eddie, Neal, and good friend Marlon Blackwell had the pleasure to sponsor a lecture by Jeremy Smith, design director of the research-based design practice Irving Smith Architects in Nelson, New Zealand.

Titled¬†“Soft Architecture: Is being finished, finished?” Jeremy’s lecture focused on identifying design issues and opportunities for buildings being placed in shifting landscapes (or environments) on a small island ravaged by cyclones and earthquakes. The lecture was held in the Pavilion at Taliesin West.

Check out other upcoming lectures and events at Taliesin West, including a panel discussion with Eddie this coming Wednesday.
